خَفَّ يَخِفُّ خَفّاً وخِفَّةً: صَارَ خَفِيفاً، فَهُوَ خَفِيفٌ وخُفافٌ، بِالضَّمِّ وَقِيلَ: الخَفِيفُ فِي الْجِسْمِ، والخُفَاف فِي التَّوَقُّد وَالذَّكَاءِ، وَجَمْعُهَا خِفَافٌ.
